Welcome to the Operations Division Orientation Module. In this course, you will learn how the Operations team functions as the administrative backbone of PAE, supporting every department across the company. Led by Giselle, this module introduces you to the Operations Playbook, the central resource that defines how we organize, standardize, and optimize our internal processes.
Throughout the lesson, you will discover:
- The purpose of the Operations Division and how it empowers Sales, Marketing, Production, and other departments
- Where to access the Operations Playbook within Slack
- How the playbook is structured and what each section covers
- The full list of PAE’s KPIs and how they are organized for easy reference
- Key operational policies, including communication standards, meeting guidelines, communication culture, Slack usage rules, dashboard procedures, data handling, inventory management, intellectual property, confidentiality, and policy creation
- Core operational processes such as maintaining communication channels and developing new playbooks
- The structure of the Operations Division, including roles, responsibilities, and interdepartmental support functions
By the end of this module, you will understand how the Operations Playbook guides daily decision making, strengthens communication, and ensures consistency throughout the company.
To complete this course, all team members must pass the final quiz demonstrating their understanding of the Operations Playbook.
